The group traces its roots from the pioneering Summa Computer Services Corporation (SCSC), which was founded in 1974 and in 1982 was acquired by its CHAIRMAN and FOUNDER to form what is now known as the Mega Group of Companies With the help of the strong management group headed by Mr. Raffy Garcia III, several other companies were born and became independent corporations under the Mega Group, each one operating independently and handling a specific niche of the IT market. Omega Computer Corporation was established in 1984 to handle the Olivetti, Memorex, and Datacard distributorship, servicing the government, banks and the credit card industry’s need for plastic identification cards. Symbol Sciences Inc. was established in 1992, pioneering in the barcoding business with Olympus-Symbol (now Motorola) products, Home Data Corporation and ScanPlus International were established in 1992 to outsource data entry requirements of the United States to local encoding professionals. Laser Barcode Solutions was organized in 1996 to handle the service bureau market of ID card personalization. In 2001, Mega Gaming Systems was organized to operate Go-Go Bingo and handle gaming-related businesses of the group. In 2003, Geebo Digital Studios was formed, comprised of hardworking, highly-talented, and very ambitious young digital artists.
